Stitched separately, September and October are just the right size to be mounted in cards; or combine with other months and some coloured fabric to create a patchwork quilt.

The 12 months in A Song of the Weather form a comprehensive introduction to Hardanger, covering all the basic worked bars and fillings plus some more unusual ones, as well as a great variety of embroidery stitches.

Special materials: 4mm wide silk or sheer (organza) ribbon.
