Coming up!

Thinking up a design and charting it are only the first steps in getting it on the website – next a model needs to be stitched (each one is done personally by Mabel), and the chart updated to reflect any changes made while stitching; then photographs are taken and the instructions written, and finally the design becomes available to buy.

So what happens to designs that have been charted but are not ready to go on sale yet? Well, they end up here, on the Coming Up page. Here you get a sneak preview of things to come, with a title and a small picture of the chart. They will be stitched roughly in the order in which they appear within their category, but much depends on what Mabel feels like stitching! If you particularly like one of the designs and would like to see it go live sooner, why not – if a design gets several requests, it might just jump the queue.
