Floral Gems – 5.2cm square / 6.6 cm square

At its most pared down embroidery needs only fabric, thread and a needle – but you can add a lot more if you wish! These three designs use several types of thread to work a variety of stitches, adding texture and sparkle by means of beads and gems to create three different colourful floral scenes, each with a 3D butterfly.
