Austin 7 Chummy
Austin 7 Box Saloon
Austin 7 Nippy
Austin 7 Ruby

A Century of Sevens – 8cm wide (Chummy, Box and Nippy), 9cm wide (Ruby)

Designed to celebrate the Austin Seven's 100th anniversary (and to address the lamentable fact that for some inexplicable reason there are no Austin Sevens on the Bayeux Tapestry), here are four models to stitch for the vintage car enthusiast in your life: a 1925 Chummy (with or without its hood up), a 1933 Box Saloon, a 1935 Nippy and a 1937 Ruby.

The Bayeux Tapestry-style text translates roughly as "Here Sir Herbert invented the Austin Seven", but feel free to chart your own message or leave out the words altogether. And if you don't fancy Bayeux stitch, the cars work very well as a simple outline too!

Materials: linen or wool fabric, crewel wool

Please note that our chart packs are digital and will be emailed to you in PDF format.
