A frame of white Hardanger sets off the purple and green of thistles made up of a variety of free embroidery stitches.

For the filling stitches, choose between pristine white, dark or light purple & green, or for a very special project in antique colours, use Threadworx perle #8 in its beautiful variegated shades of muted green, purple and cream (shown here).
